I have always had a passion for working with children. Throughout high school and college, I was an avid babysitter and worked at daycares. When deciding my career path, my grandmother introduced me to the field of speech pathology and I fell in love. I received my undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders from Texas State University in 2017. I then gained my master’s degree at Texas State University in 2019.
After graduate school, I went to work in a school district where I provided speech therapy services to students from PK to 5th grade who demonstrated a variety of disorders such as autism, ADHD, down syndrome, expressive/receptive/pragmatic language disorders, articulation disorders, fluency disorders, and more. My experience in the education system has well prepared me for the fast pace and collaboration that goes along with working in an ABA center. I am so excited to be a part of the Speech and OT of North Frisco team, to continue to grow my skills and build new relationships with my clients.
