I chose to become a speech therapist because of my experience growing up with a brother who has autism. I started my journey to become a speech language pathologist by receiving a bachelor’s degree at Texas Christian University. I then completed a master’s program in Communication Sciences and Disorders at The University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin. Additionally, I have a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from University of North Texas where I focused on autism and childhood psychology. I chose to work at Speech & Occupational Therapy because I have a strong desire to work closely with families so that together we can make a significant impact on a child’s life. I love working with children of all ages and all disabilities.

Providing support and education to my clients and their families is one of my favorite aspects of this job. Every day, I look forward to making a lasting impact on the lives of my clients and their families! As a team, we will create a therapy plan that is meaningful and motivational to your child, allowing them to celebrate every victory along the way.
